The Ingersoll Physics Museum is a free public venue and with your donations we can keep it this way. Your charitable donations help support the docent tour program, construction of new exhibits, and maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Friends of the L.R. Ingersoll Museum of Physics<\/strong> &#8211; Established in 2004.&nbsp;The historical Leonard R. Ingersoll Physics Museum was originally established in 1918 and housed in the main lobby area of Sterling Hall. &nbsp;Where it&#8217;s main attraction, the <a href=\"\/ingersollmuseum\/exhibits\/mechanics\/foucaultpendulum\">Foucault Pendulum<\/a>, was a on display. Eventually the museum was relocated into two adjacent rooms off the lobby area and remained there until 2006 when it was moved to it&#8217;s current location within Chamberlin Hall. Your donations to this fund will support the acquisition and construction of new exhibits for the expanded museum area.
