Please return glasses upon leaving<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proper footwear must be worn; a complete shoe that covers the toes, tennis shoes are allowed. (NO SANDALS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No loose hanging jewelry, rings, watches, or ties while operating equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Long hair must be tied back, or under a cap or hat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No cell phone use while running machines. (as a calculator is permissible)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are not to use any piece of equipment that you have not been trained on or not cleared to run by the supervisor in charge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All machines and tools are to be used in a safe and appropriate manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Machine guards\/stops must be in place and in use while equipment is in operation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All equipment and tools must be cleaned after you are done using them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All tools are to be used in the manner for which they were designed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While you are encouraged to use the shop during supervised hours, if however you have been authorized to use the shop after hours another person must be in the shop with you in case of accident.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ALL accidents, including minor cuts or burns must be reported to the supervisor in charge within 24 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div\n\tclass=\"wp-block-uw-blocks-uw-tabbed-content-tab\"\tdata-wp-interactive=\"uw-tabbed-content\"\n\tdata-wp-context='{\"id\":\"3560ec7f-9156-4aa3-8a59-7ebfc1400bef-content\",\"labelledby\":\"3560ec7f-9156-4aa3-8a59-7ebfc1400bef\"}'>\n\t<div aria-labelledby=\"3560ec7f-9156-4aa3-8a59-7ebfc1400bef\" hidden id=\"3560ec7f-9156-4aa3-8a59-7ebfc1400bef-content\" class=\"uw-tabs__content is-layout-constrained\" data-wp-bind--id=\"context.id\" data-wp-bind--hidden=\"!state.contentVisible\" role=\"tabpanel\" tabindex=\"0\" data-wp-bind--aria-labelledby=\"context.labelledby\">\n\t\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only Authorized Shop Users may utilize the equipment after hours.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"font-size: 1.125rem\" class=\"is-style-blockquote wp-block-uw-blocks-uw-quote\">\n\t<blockquote><em>Authorized Shop Users are those persons who have either taken and passed the Department\u2019s Machine Shop Class or proven their competency in the use of Machine Tools to the Supervisor in charge.<\/em><\/blockquote>\n\t<div class=\"uw-quote-bottom-container\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">After Hours<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Monday &#8211; Friday after 3:00 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We currently have 2 part time student staff techs working in the student shop. We will try and set up times during their schedule to accommodate students that want to use the student shop. If that doesn&#8217;t work, follow the rules below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After hours users must adhere to the following rules and regulations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list is-style-more-space\">\n<li>Main Door to the shop must be left open at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buddy System is to be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must log into the Student shop app and reserve a machine.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Buddy System is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list is-style-more-space\">\n<li>You must sign your name, date, time you arrived, and your shop I.D. # and the name of your \u201cBuddy\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your \u201cBuddy\u201d is someone in the shop with you at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remember:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-more-space\">\n<li>All Safety Rules must be adhered to ESPECIALLY AFTER HOURS. If you see safety rules being ignored, please report it to Supervisor A.S.A.P.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notify the Supervisor in charge A.S.A.P. if equipment is in need of repair.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Always sign out the stock you have
