(<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.physics.wisc.edu\/lectdemo\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/08\/TPS-01.jpg\">see image<\/a>) You will then need to touch the screen a second time to acquire the log-in screen. (<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.physics.wisc.edu\/lectdemo\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/08\/TPS-02.jpg\">see image<\/a>)<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong><em><u>Note:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em> Your campus 6 digit AV pass-code and keys will not work within our rooms. Please contact us.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h2><strong><em><u>Connecting a computer to our Crestron System:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Connect your computer to the system by using one of the 7 HDMI ports. 1 at the lectern and 2 at each lecture demonstration table.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>The most commonly used port is Computer 1 located at Table #2 in the center of the stage. (See\u00a0 image)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>There is usually an HDMI cable at that location or it the drawer below.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><em><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong> a USBC\u00a0 or other mac adapter is often needed, we have several adapters available for use. The most common ones should be within the drawer below.<\/em><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>See images: Before connected and After connected to Computer #1 at Table #2 .\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>If button does not brighten up, then there is most likely a connection issue or possibly a resolution issue. \u00a0Repeat step one above and or seek help.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Select by pushing either the \u201cComputer 1\u201d button within the &#8220;Table 2&#8221; box or the button that did brighten up. The button will change from Blue to Green. (See image)\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Your computer display should now appear on the Crestron touch screen preview window located above the room source buttons. (See image 1) (see image 2)<\/li>\r\n \t<li><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> that \u201cComputer 2\u201d button under &#8220;Room Sources&#8221; is also bright. This input is reserved for airplay via Apple TV, which you will need another departmental code to use.<\/em><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Once you have your display showing on the previews, <em><strong>you now must send it to a projector<\/strong><\/em>.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>The best projector is <strong><em>Projector B<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Do this by pushing the green \u201c<strong><em>Projector B<\/em><\/strong>\u201d button located at top-center of the Crestron touch screen. (See image). The label \u201cWarming\u201d will appear over the button.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>You should be able to see a blue light coming from projector B its self, which is located in the back of the lecture hall.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The label that is just above the Projector B button, will change to whichever source button that was just sent. In this case it should read \u201c<strong><em>Computer 1 Table 2<\/em><\/strong>\u201d\u00a0 (See image)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Once you have your display showing on the previews, you now <em><strong>must send<\/strong><\/em> it to a projector.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>This is your choice, but the best projector is <strong><em>Projector B<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Do this by pushing the green &#8220;<strong><em>Projector B<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; button located at top-center of the Crestron touch screen. This will go away in time.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>You should be able to see a blue light coming from projector B its self, which is located in the back of the lecture hall.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The Projector B button\u2019s label that is just above it, will change to whichever source button that was sent last. In this case it should read \u201c<strong><em>Computer 1 Table 2<\/em><\/strong>\u201d. (<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.physics.wisc.edu\/lectdemo\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/08\/TPS-06a.jpg\">see image<\/a>)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Each projector button has an associated <strong><em>&#8220;Mute&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> button. Which blank the projector image without turning off the projector.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>The color of the mute button&#8217;s will change for &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.physics.wisc.edu\/lectdemo\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/08\/TPS-06-Mute.jpg\"><strong><em>Green = \u00a0Mute Off<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u201d to &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.physics.wisc.edu\/lectdemo\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/08\/TPS-06-MuteOn.jpg\"><strong><em>Red = Mute On<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u201d<\/li>\r\n \t<li>NOTE: The word &#8220;MUTE&#8221; is always seen. Even when the mute function is being used (Red). This does cause a lot of confusion. Just remember that Green means Go!<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"hr6\" \/>\r\n\r\n<h2><strong>The PA System:<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li><strong><em><u>The touch screen<\/u><\/em><\/strong> &#8212; on the left hand margin you will see volume controls that are labeled <strong><em>&#8220;Program&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> and <em><strong>&#8220;Microphone&#8221;<\/strong><\/em>.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><strong><em><u>Note:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0 These two controls will most likely be blinking <strong>&#8220;Red&#8221;<\/strong> upon login. This means they are <strong>&#8220;Muted&#8221;,<\/strong> No sound! (<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.physics.wisc.edu\/lectdemo\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/08\/TPS-07-off.jpg\">See image<\/a>)\r\n<\/em><\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong><em>&#8220;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Program&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> <strong>Audio<\/strong> is the mixed audio from one computer port and any other plug-in audio device such as a CD\/DVD player.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><em><strong>&#8220;Microphone&#8221; <\/strong><\/em><strong>Audio<\/strong> is the &#8220;Mixed&#8221; audio from all microphones.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Push both red mute buttons so they turn on or <strong><em>&#8220;Black&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>. (<a href=\"https:\/\/wp.physics.wisc.edu\/lectdemo\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2021\/08\/TPS-07-on.jpg\">See image<\/a>)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>There are often two <a class=\"http\" href=\"https:\/\/en-us.sennheiser.com\/wireless-microphone-bodypack-transmitter-sk-500-g3\">wireless microphones<\/a> available within the room. However, this room has the capabilities of having up to six wireless microphones and two or three wired microphones. A formal request is needed for additional microphones.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><em><strong>Find the Sennheiser body pack wireless microphone<\/strong><\/em>.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>It should be either on the lecture or on Table 2.
